Newbie and I'm needing a riding l'amour ASAP any suggestions

I'm in the need of for a new riding lawn more ASAP I have just under a 1 acre lot some areas are smooth some areas are slightly bumpy I have a small very small area where there's a little incline but outside of that nothing I've been doing some research and it just seems like they don't make things like they used to I'm on a limited budget right now up to $1600 dollars ... any suggestions ? Yes I realize you get what you pay for but there are several brands even John Deere that run around that price range I was wondering if someone could suggest being on that type of budget what would be the best brand to go with ...thanks In Advance ....

For that money and considering you have a smallish yard then go for a rear engine rider.
Not much of difference at that price level so pick the colour you like best
