Kohler 26hp SV735s Spec # SV735-0016. I'm trying to find a replacement (new) carburetor. Or a kit for it. I'm finding so many different ones.

Here's a few pics.

The aftermarket ones I've been looking at, have a much smaller bowl. I'm guessing they're trying to keep their costs down, by putting a smaller bowl on it. But if they're going to do that, what else are they skimping out on.

Also, before I forget, the mixture screw on top of the one I just took off, is broken off into the carb. No way to get it out. So, I'm guessing a new carb is probably the best idea, maybe...

Here's a pic of the one's I'm finding online. Notice the face is different.

Kohler used 3 different carbs on the Courage engines. Walbro, Keihin and Nikki. The carb you have pictured is a Nikki carb which I don’t think is available any more. The kit you are finding is a Keihin carb. You need to go to a shop which can access Kohler’s power portal to see which carbs and/or kits are still available for you engine.

Thanks for that. The shop I talked to today, said just the kit was around $50. I just found this complete carb this one for about $70.

I was looking at some available online, the higher priced ones (OEM's at around the $200 range), and the bowls on them were small too.
