I got this early to mid '80s S92 rear engine mower with a 38" deck. Gave $200 plus the cost of a battery, and a carb re-build kit. I also have the bagger and owners manual that came with it. Had been in the same family since new. Hopefully it was a good investment.

Looks like a great mower in absolutely fantastic shape for its age, judging by the seat. I have an old Model 68 and it's practically indestructible, built like John Deer used to make them. One thing about old JD's is that even if you can't find parts, you can still fix them with a welder and a little ingenuity.
