Yep... Just like I told you 4 nights ago on the phone, if your travel is right then the release is shot...........

Now a good cleanout and a KEEN eye for some damage, which I doubt there is any and that new cam we were talking about last nite on the phone and you gonna be in great shape..........

Remember if you put any sealant on the sump make sure it's the black rtv and just a very thin application....

Thanks for the reply Mon Ami ~!~!

Thank you guys. Ordered the cam and gasket set. I'll keep you informed. Parts will probably be here next week. I'll clean it up real good in the meantime. :) Havent seen any damage yet.

That's a good thing no damage.... The release is close to the bottom of the engine so when it comes loose it usually just stays on the bottom....

In fact I was on the phone with one of my distributors today and told him that you were close to him and what your problem was...

He said that is the most sold cam he has ever seen ~!~! You got a real good deal on the one you found with the sump gasket included too and the tappets .......

Plus Tard Mon Ami ~!~!

Just be sure you use the lube for engine assembly, and NOT for your "Extra-Curricular" activities !! ....
