I have an older model Snapper SPA610. I just replaced the electric clutch, have checked adjustment and burnished per manufacturer's directions. Problem I'm having is the clutch will engaged but will shut off then kick back on. Doesn't seems to be any set pattern or amount of time and hot or cold doesn't seem to make a difference either. Battery is a couple years old and as far as I can tell the charging system is working.

Check voltage at the battery with the mower on and full throttle. Should be around 13.5 volts or better. if not that is your problem.
