hi , i am a week into restoring my R92 mower and i know have the machine all freed up (it was badly siezed on all linkages/steering etc) the choke set up is not great reliability wise and i was wondering if it would be possible to fit an auto choke set up from newer briggs engine? what would it involve.
any body else have any of these mowers already?
it has an 11 hp briggs engine (1986) with a 5 speed peerless gear transmission.

Decided against messing with the original set up .. but im having to make a battery tray for r/h side as original so have batt fiited under seat between trans snd engine.. not ideal but works for now to try it out!! Waiting on replacement original seat and just picked up original bag set bagger! Machine is now in working order after 3 lawn cuts with 0 issues! Ill post pictures of how its looking soln! Next decision on respray or wax to keep the look! These machine were very bery solidly built!
