Toro SmartStow 20340 163cc vs 190cc question?

Hello - Just joined. Looking for an opinion on the model I'm looking to get.

I have a small lawn (total of about 800sq feet of grass) in North NJ. Have been using electric mower and looking to upgrade.

I found 2 options locally and trying to figure out the difference.

First option is 1 year old Toro SmartStow with personal Pace 20340 that has older 190cc engine for $200.

Second option is brand new in box Toro SmartStow with personal Pace 20340 with new 163cc engine for $300.


Does anyone know the difference between 163cc and 190cc engine and if its better to get one or the other. I don't mind spending extra $100 for new one but if 190cc is better option I can go for that one too

Get the 190 if it's in good shape. It's a solid design that was in production for 25+ years. 163 is nowhere near as well built and is more prone to have issues.
