Scag Patriot vs. Ferris is 700 z 52"decks

I've pretty much narrowed it down to these two mowers. I'm mowing about 2 acres on property that varies from slopes (nothing extreme) to flat.The Scag has the fx Kawi 22hp vs the Brigs Commercial series 27 hp. The Scag has 3100 hydros compared to 3400 for the ferris. The Ferris also has the suspension, which I've heard isn't that big of a deal on the 600 and 700 series. The Ferris is also about 200 lbs. heavier on similar tires. I'm not a commercial guy, probably cut about 50-60 hrs a year. I'm just looking for the most reliable mower for the money. I'm more interested in something that is going to last vs. something that is going to cut fast or stripe well. The price on both these mowers is within $200 of each other.

I have the Ferris IS700Z 52" with thr 27 hp B&S and mow 2.5 acres.I'm very satisfied with the mower.I think the shocks do make a difference.
