I bought this new. It has the 223cc Briggs engine like the newer Toro Timemasters. Bottom line is I'm not impressed. The mower seems underpowered. I figured the 223cc engine on a 28" mower w/ two blades would be a lot better than this. Has the same basic problems that the older Timemasters had. Underpowered , clogs easily, gets bogged down in grass that it should cut easily. Doesn't pick up leaves well even w/ the high lift blades. Good points: It always starts. Ground speed is good. It has a good cut in grass that isn't too high or wet. That probably goes for any residential mower. If you cut every week and use the side discharge it's a decent mower.
