Year of ranch king.

I bought a ranch king (orange) and the tag is missing so no numbers.The engine says 1994 but if I look up a 95 or 94 it doesn't look like mine.I have only three louvers on my hood instead of the more common multiple.Its a 7 speed and when you pull up on the lever it disengaged with the blade brakes.Engage it forward and the deck moves forward to tighten it.Any ideas would help me out.Thank You
