I have a few blue bird houses around my property in which ever year blue birds build nest in. For some reason this year one of the male birds keep attacking my front house windows. I just can't discourage him from doing so no matter what I do. I think what he sees is a reflection of another male blue bird. Has anybody ever have this problem and if so what did you do to stop it ?

Yeah. Mating season and thinks it's a rival. Need to put something up inside or outside to try to block reflection. Wife who is a birder and wildlife biologist says try rubbing bar soap on outside of window.

Two things that have worked for us. Partially close the drapes, to reduce the amount of reflection. My better half also puts decorative stickers on the windows or will hang sun catchers on the panes of those windows she doesn’t want to close the drapes on. Still get a couple each year, but not like it used to be, about one every other day.

Put a big plastic owl close to the window. Dollar store kind.
