Well the PC police are trying hard to make us just as 2 faced as the US is.
"Have a NICE day" as they rip you off blind or chop you up with a chain saw.
I once contracted to a mob who ripped up your contract if you said "happy Christmas" to a customer because they might have non christian beliefs and be offended.
"Happy holidays" was also banned because some people might be working through , Happy new year go the same treatment because they might be Chinese or Greek Orthadox .
Yet they advertised heavily as providing "friendly personalised service ".
When John Clease did his first Aussie tour he picked up on this and did a side splitting routine on the UK Stiff Upper Lip & false PC.
So strait talk it is and refreshing it also is.
OTOH it cuts both ways so strait talk can't come out of a glass jaw begging a strait punch.
