no power pushing snow , but lots of torque in reverse?

Lots of questions before trying to determine a possible cause and remedy. Seeing you don’t supply us with a model number I am assuming you have a model 1691473 unit built around 1994, which means it is almost 25 years old. When was the last time the drive belt and tensioner pulleys checked and replaced? What color is the hydro fluid? Is the fluid level correct and if your are adding fluid, are you using the correct fluid? Have you ever had the fluid changed? Bad belt, bad pulleys, weak tensioner spring, bad or low fluid, all will cause or contribute to your problem. May be a simple fix (replace with proper belt) or tough one (replacing many parts and fluid.
