Found a new, left over 2017 and struck a great deal that included April delivery of my Ferris IS3200Z. Home use, about an acre. Hope the 32hp is enough. Anyone have an opinion on the mower or grass collector to share?

My 2017 3200 cuts almost 7 acres in half the time. 1 acre will take you about 20 minutes. Be At mower, you are going to love it, the ride is amazing

Congratulations on your mower and welcome to the site. That mower is total overkill for 1 acre - not that it's a bad thing, but as such I'd suggest putting off the decision on a collection system for now. You could easily just double cut the lawn if you have excess clippings after the first cut.

I agree, double cut. It's not over kill, your neighbors will be drooling. It will last you a lifetime. I put about 85 hours on mine, we had a very wet summer and I had to cut every week , sometimes twice. You'll love it

Thanks guys for the great comments. How about leaves? Lots of leaves in the fall?
