does anyone have a diagram of the automatic choke/ governor linkage as used on a 2013 Husquavarna riding mower? the choke has 2 rods on it, one goes up when the other goes down. I appreciate the help.

I contacted briggs support and they couldn't help with the linkage connections for the automatic choke, after they escalated it to a product specialist, she referred me to a briggs dealer. maybe someone will take a picture or draw out a diagram?

Thanks for the reply, I've been on the net many hours, found a few lousy pics of the gov. contol but squat on the choke linkage, I may visit a Husqvarna dealer ( I believe that's the brand of mower it came on ) and see if they have a floor-model with this eng. or something close, and take pics, but it wont be REAL soon it's 35 mi. 1 way !!
I will keep in touch with what I find, either on THIS thread, or I'll send a PM ... Boobala

lestro, just ran across this on THIS forum, check it out, it's about converting from AUTO-CHOKE to a MANUAL, theres several pics but I didn't see them helpful to keep the auto version, interesting though, and I'm considering going manual myself, I have a 21HP Briggs, 46in. cut Murray with a separate throttle and separate choke lever ( factory ) I have the parts manual for it so I have the P/Ns for the parts ( if they're still available ) would have to check on that, I do want to see how this AUTO choke is hooked up though, so I could go either way. this link takes you right back to a thread on this forum, ..let me know what your planning, ...Boobala

I was just reading some reviews if these "Ready-Start" engines with the thermostat ( mine has the stat ) but missing the linkage, anyway everything I've read makes me want to go with a MANUAL choke, the one on my 21 HP works just fine NEVER a start problem, I did find the diagrams & P/Ns for the brackets & cables, in case YOU decide to go that route, I saw the parts are available but I haven't checked the pricing yet. I'm not giving up on the original auto-choke ready-start B/S though, as I stated before lets keep in touch. ...Boobala ..

thanks, will do. I was kind of wanting to keep this one original because it's not mine, but if all else fails, I'll go with the manual setup.
