I have a Z442 i bought used and when you first start it up when it's cold it's hard to start and when it does start it would surge a little, I removed the flywheel and cleaned & re gaped the coils and cleaned all. It don't surge anymore but is still takes time to start, like it's not getting enough fuel in the carb. I took the breather off and it seems to be getting enough fuel, also when it does start it acts as it was flooded but in seconds lines right out and runs good ?. any suggestions.

How old is it ??? Maybe start simple and change the fuel lines, they do breakdown on the inside more than the outside..thanks to the great gas all over the place..... Also a new filter would help....

If it's the same the a good carb clean/rebuild will fix you up................ Hopefully

New plugs ?? try that first with the fuel lines...........
