My Tiger Cat II has a place for an air cleaner restriction gauge in the Cat Eye display and I want to install one.
My question is has anyone installed one on their mower, is it plug and play, or is it a big deal to install?

Dealer said the part is about $70.00, and I want to get one.
Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

Can't help you with installation on a Scag but I applaud your decision to install one on your mower.

Not familiar with your cay eye display, however:

I'd suggest google up Donaldson Air Filters & then pull up their ph # call them, they will advise you of the appropriate "Restriction Informer" yours would need, in the intake elbow.

His installation uses an electronic sending unit to send a signal to an LCD dispay (the 'Cat Eye').

FWIW, the Scag website says "plug and play."

Thanks, that's what I was looking for (couldn't seem to find it)
Going to go to the dealer and have him order it, unless I can find it online somewhere.

If you order online, make sure you get the exact same unit as the dealer sells. It will be 'calibrated' to the air filter element your engine uses.

Good call, guess I'll get it from my dealer so as to be sure to get the right one.
