I inherited a john Deere 125 A harvey series from the flood and it had been doing fine then it started having some fuel issues. So i watched some you tube to learn how to remove i t , i saw one guy hook the jd from the back remove the springs and jerk the tank out , he bent the frame to say the least it gave me a start but i was not impressed; the other guy basically dismantled the mower but was able to remove the tank without damage .and a good opportunity to cleane the mower i decided to lft the body remove the 2 10 mil bolts off springs and waas able to remove the supprt bracket and out came the tank
I soap and washed it had a few years of grease outside and inside i found an air gun nozzle a gasket and spring and lots of dirt/gravel type junk
i am gonna order the fuel spikket that lifts the gas and put my new (to me ) gas tank
