I've got a Gravley that had a Kohler Chaos...I mean Courage. Blew up and I replaced it with a 25 HP briggs Intek 445777. I'm making progress on the rewire, but, there's a red wire coming out of the regulator that doesn't match with existing wiring. I think it's supposed to go back to positive side of battery for recharging. Yes? Thanks, Mike K.

Export threadThe single wire with the bullet type connected on the regulator rectifier can be wired directly to battery positive, either at the battery or starter solenoid. The red wire on the regulator would be the same as the purple wire on the Kohler. regulator
