I bought this old 14.5 opposed twin from a fella this passed weekend. And after a few "this and that's", the end result was it was running great. These are suck good engines.
When I first jump started it, it smoked quite a bit. The video is on the 2nd start up. Upon 1st start up, it smoked pretty bad. The 2nd, not so much. After the video ends, a couple of minutes later, the smoke clears up and she ran great.
I just wished I had a better/newer frame to put it on. I've got a lot of wiring, belt changing, deck fixing and painting to do on this frame. Probably won't be able to get more than $300 for it, unless I spend a week on it.
Anyways, here's the engine purring like a kitten.
