Hi all, trying to do a rebuild on this old engine, but for the life of me, cannot budge the flywheel. Using a two bolt wheel puller, soaking in penetrating fluid, still will not let go. Tried manual spanner on the puller, and even tries air rattle gun, still no joy. If anyone could help with a method to try next, that would be great. Tried a small amount of heat on it also, not enough to damage anything else.

Apply torque to the puller bolt, raise flywheel with pry bars to upper limit of crank end play, then hit the head of the puller bolt with a hammer.

Hi, many thanks, took about 6 good hits, then bingo.....got it. Standard piston still, all good.
