Brake cable hook up

I have a MTD Yard Machine with a 46 inch deck, (H platform). I just bought it used, and the mower deck was missing some parts. I have the brake cable attached to the brake, but can't determine where to attach the other end. Thank you. Rowdy2540

Without a model number can't really give you correct information. Does this mower have the manual engagement pto with the two pulleys next to each other attached to the bottom of the frame of the mower that move to engage the deck. if so there is a small pin (diameter to match the end of the cable) next to those pulleys that the cable attaches to to pull off the brake when you engine the pto.
