Main Jet on John Deere L111

I have a John Deere L111. I took the carburetor apart today and the main jet fell out before I could memorize where it was. Can someone please tell me where the main jet goes in the carburetor? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

How about getting us the model number information off of the engine itself so we can see what you are working on. We have no way of knowing what carb you have or if the engine on your L111 is original.

Sounds like the typical Briggs V-twin problem.
If so, the main jets belong in the bottom of the emulsion tube, which is the white plastic
tube in the center of the underside of the carb body.
The jets are usually held in place by friction of O-rings on the jets.
These shrink mostly due to ethanol in the gasoline.
The bowl fitting will keep them in place while assembled, but they fall out after bowl removal and uprighting the carb.
Caution--the jets are different sizes!

btw--O-rings are available from McMaster Carr, cat# 9262K101 https://www.mcmaster.com/#9262k101/=190aof3
or possibly auto parts store or hydraulic supplier

You can re-install the jets without new O-rings.
Just make sure to put the bowl back on before turning the carb upside right!

ronno, the L111 is normally a 11 hp briggs flat head engine from the factory.

My apologies. The mower has a Briggs & Stratton Intek 20-horsepower Twin. The model number is 406577. The type is 0139 E1 and the code is 050125 YH. Thanks again for any advice.

Hmmmm. Apparently a 2cyl engine with a single more carb.

See picture "F".
It appears that your main jet goes in the side of the main tower in the carb bowl area, and from what I can see on the
parts list, it is again held in by the O-ring on the jet.

You may need to replace that O-ring so that the jet stays in place.
There is no OEM part # that I have found for that O-ring.
The McMaster cat# I provided earlier MAY or MAY NOT fit....
