New to forum but not lawn care equipment. Picked up an older Pro-Cut (about 2002) that is in fairly good condition.
Did and oil change, sharpened the blades no problem, engine runs strong. Problem is ground speed. It's way slow and can barely climb a slope. Changed the pump fluid and filter and filled with Mobil 1 15-50 full synthetic motor oil as per my local Ferris mechanics advise. No change, no faster. I have run these before so am familiar with the ground speed they should have. The trans has a very small leak. It might drop a quarter sized drop in 2 days.
Am I missing something?
Can the pedal be adjusted?
Thanks for any tips before I give up and take to dealer.
