Used to the "fix" to repairing a Poulan FeatherLite leaf blower that the starter cord would not retract was to stack a bunch of flat washers under the starter mechanism. I'm not sure what this is supposed to do but it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't.
Supposedly there is now a kit either made by Poulan (due to complaints) or made by someone else that sells for about $6.00 to fix this problem. Does anybody know what it's called or where to get it?
Google is not working on my side at the moment.
I've got a couple of these leaf blowers with good engines other than the fact they won't start because the cord on the recoil starter will not retract.
