What are the Good/Bad points of a propane fueled ZTR?
I have 2 propane dealers within 4 miles.
Some Kubota dealers have some Good Deals on in stock, 31 horsepower ZTR.
It comes with 2, 33 lb tanks, that's about 8 gal ea, I think.
I've got a 4 acre yard, been using a M2561 Bush Hog ZTR, about 16 years old.
I think 1 of the first Bush Hogs, serial #00024, LOL
Appreciate any comments Pro/Con

Cost more money to run as in gas prices are low and propane cost you more to use.
Propane is cleaner and requires less maintaince. So it is kind of a toss up when deciding to use or or not.
If I had the money to buy a unit and an extra tank for when I run out it would be my choice for sure. The cleaner running and lower maintiance cost just does it for me.
One more thing i forgot to mention is propane has a lower btu than gas so you lose around 10% of the raited power of the engine. That would be 3 to 4 hp in your case. That is why it cost more to run propane than gas.

Kubota rates the gas engine,WG972-G-E3-2G, @ 32.5 HP @ 3600..
The propane engine, WG972-GL-E3-ZG-1, @ 31HP @ 3600..
You think it might be over rated??
That happens a lot.. HaHa

Propane engines tend to run very clean. They do have slightly reduced power but in most cases, it doesn't take 30 hp to mow grass.

The road taxes on gasoline are 40 to 50 cents per gallon. Propane bought for off-road use has none.

It is only a 13.5 hour drive for me. Oh wait double that for the return trip. That would add around $400.00 to the price as well. Darn the luck.
