lt 1042 the clutch will disengage after mowing for about 30 minutes and will work again after letting set for 10-15 minutes. is it time for a new clutch???
That or the airgap needs adjusted or the charging system needs fixed. Start mower and run at wot the test voltage at battery. Then run it till pto shuts off and test again. Report your findings.
the charging checked out at 13.4 volts but I found the problem. a wire had melted coming from the fuse holder. I cut the wire back and new fuse holder ,all is fine now.
