Hi, I am hoping someone in this forum might be able to help? I have a Honda HRD 535 petrol mower. For some reason it's suddenly not starting. I have changed the fuel to newer petrol. I've stripped the carb down and cleaned it, making sure to blow out all the little holes, and I 've changed the spark plug. It's still not starting. Fuel is getting into the carb as it drains when I loosen the bolt on the base of the cup. I'm not sure what to try next? If I spray start spray into the intake it will start but only for a second. It's obviously a fuel related issue but I'm lost on what I can now try. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, a Honda expert I'm not, but is the choke working correctly?

Thanks for the reply,

I worked out what the problem was. There was a big hole underneath the thick gasket that connects the carb to the engine. I managed to make a temporary one out of some thick rubber until I can get a spare delivered . It's running well now.

Many thanks,

B
