FH541V-SA20-- How can I check the regulator to see if it's working as it should?
Thanks, gregjo1948

Easies check is to measure battery voltage between the terminals with the engine off , should be 12 to 13 Volts
Do the same, engine running and it should be 13 to 14 Volts

If the running voltage is too low, measure between a good ground and the odd coloured wire on your regulator
It should have 3 or 4 wires.
Two the came colour are the AC feed and should be better then 26V AC between them
Single colour is the converted DC
Some Kawasakis use the body of the rectifier as ground and some have a ground wire
