Thanks for posting that link. They sure did know something special about industrial design back in the 1950s. That knowledge seems to be lost. I love the look of cars and trucks from that decade.
The Brooks Stevens design firm had a lot to do with that.
They were responsible for alot of cool designs, including the Oscar Meyer Weiner mobile.

I know most of "ol-codgers" miss the "good ol days" when they used METAL instead of plastic , when your dealer really did care about your satisfaction, and it wasn't always about the money ! Cars had metal bumpers, and MEN were MEN,
who got dirty at work, and usually made sure to help their neighbors .
