So I found out that my clutch cable is pretty badly frayed now and needs to be replaced.

I've found two part numbers that both claim to be for my mower, but one is for a "Shore tube," and the other for a long one, but I can't find anywhere in online manuals referencing this.

Anyone know what the difference is between the length of the long or short tube style so I can get this thing working properly again?

Even a call to Partstree didn't solve this one, and I thought for sure they'd know.

How can we help if you have not told us what mower you have? Or the part numbers you are looking at.

It's right there in the title, but it's a Snapper, RER 33" cut, model 33114S.

The 33" has the longest frame of the RERs. I would assume you have the long tube. It was a long time ago, but I don't ever remember them differentiating parts that way.
