Recently bought a used Poulan Pro 350ex Riding Lawn Mower (46 inch cut, 19.5 hp) from my neighbor, which runs and cuts wonderfully. However, I have Tall Fescue grass, which I like to cut at about 3.5 to 4 inches. It looks like the model I have has a stationary bar on the right side for the mower deck and a simple leveling bar on the left. I really would like to raise the deck a half to one inch more so I don't get several 'ground' cuts and taller grass overall. Does anyone know how to do this? I've checked the tire pressure. Could I replace the bars to lift up the mower deck? Any help would be appreciated.

As a whole, lawn mower have what they have and can do very little to change it. With that being said the way to get the mower to mow higher it to change all 4 tires to a taller tire. One inch taller will give you 1/2 inch higher cut. Two inch taller will give you 1 inch higher cut. It will also increase top end speed but lower low end speed control.
