LT1050 is your SERIES of mower, NOT the MODEL !!!
My good friend Bert is trying to help YOU ...BUT since he failed mind-reading & mental -telepathy,
he requests you provide some necessary information about your machine as depicted in the example !!

I'm was wanting to see if I could source these bearings, races, from aftermarket source instead of from Cub Cadet/MTD.
Thanks for any help. I am looking myself also. I bought this unit used, it is in great shape for its age, and I'm just trying to do some footwork sourcing things before I need anything. Thanks for any info or help. Tim.

If you take apart your spindle, you will probably see the bearing manufacturer's numbers on the bearing.

Go to Jacks Small Engine or parts tree or Cub cadet .com
use the parts look up section, dial in your numbers then pull the part number.
Now go to the Stens web site, dial in the Cub number for a Stens part.
These will be good quality after market bearings and have a warranty with them.
The most forged item is not Rolex watches, it is bearings.
Bearings in the same shaft & housing sizes come in a variety of fits and useages.
Thus a cheap bearing of the correct size off the web can be a light duty one designed for shopping cart wheels and not a heavy duty application such as mower spindles.
Then there are the trading companies that buy cheap ( usually defective ) products then sell them on line .
Some will even do some research so list the bearings as fits " then list hundreds of places " a bearing of that size will fill the hole.
