I recently picked up a pair of NOS part number 689072 Lawn boy wheels ($15.49/ea). I put them on my L21ZSNA and I am amazed at how great they work. The capstan drive works very well when paired with the special "soft" rubber OEM tires!

You found a great deal. NOS wheels are hard to find.
Took me a couple years to find the ones I have.

Any time I run across some good used ones, I hoard them in my stash of parts. They may not be new, but when I drill them out and slide a bronze bushing in them, they roll good as new.

New ones are getting harder to find so buy them if you see them.

Uh, Are you sure that's the image you were intending to post? Looks like an Exmark ad to me.

You must see something other than what I see, because it looks like 4 NOS Lawnboy wheels to me.

Where do you find the bronze bushings? I'm thinking of doing that.

Thanks

I get the bronze bushings at my local Tru Value hardware store. If they are out of them, the local Ace hardware store usually has them. I don't recall what the exact diameter is, but I use a 5/8 inch drill bit on the wheel and the bushings that I buy will slide right in. Sometimes I have to use a soft hammer and a correct size socket to tap them in. Combine all of this with new axle bolts, and you will have wheels that will turn smoothly without excess wobble.
