Kohler Courage 19 - Spark Plug Champion 71ECO

Hello,

I stripped out my spark plug threads on a Kohler Courage 19 engine. The spark plug I have for it is a Champion 71eco. I am going to buy a re-thread kit to repair the threads. Any particular kit anyone suggests? and do you know off hand what size I need to buy? 10mm, 12mm, 14mm etc. Thank you for any help!

It will be cheaper to get a mobile thread repair an to come & fix it.
Depending upon just how bad it is stripped usually you can run a tap down , or a expanding thread repair tool up the threads enough to fix them.
If you really want to do it yourself you should put a solid insert in there so you will need the kit with a drill, tap & installing tool.
Once you put any insert you will need to put a little copper or nickle slip ( never sieze is one brand name ) on the plug threds.
Solid inserts are pressure tight, wire ones are a bit hit & miss.
