I have a 2005 simplicity conquest 22hp briggs and stratton engine mower that i am having an electrical issue with. While mowing with the PTO engaged the battery light and "electrical" word come on the dash. I just replaced the PTO because i thought that was the issue. I have done voltage checks and ohm checks from the battery to PTO and everything in between checking wires for possible ground. The lights come on anywhere from 20 minutes into mowing to two hours. I can run for a while with the lights on but if i disengage the pto it wont start up unless i go charge the battery or let the mower sit idle and charge the battery. The battery is new from last year check all wires going to battery for breaks or rot.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP WITH THIS ISSUE, PPPLLEEEASSSE.
thank you mower heads.

So you have checked everything and all is well ?
unless you want us to suggest gremlins how about some details ?
Like battery voltage engine off, battery voltage engine running
battery voltage engine running & PTO on
AC voltage from the stator .
DC voltage between the rectifier & ground and the rectifier & battery
Serian number & model of your Simplicity so we can do what you should have already done. gone to the Simplicity web site & downloaded your service manual & wiring diagrams.

Otherwise, never get it wet and don't feed it after midnight.
