Last year I rigged the cable to keep the self propel working. I had to tie a knot in it and also duct tape the cable insulation. I suspect the cable may be the problem again but I'd lile to toruble shoort properly. I do not have a service manual and I before I just take things apart I thought I'd chaeck this fourum for advice. I am new to this forum but have used other formums before and find them extremely helpful. I'm sure I'll find this helpful as well. Does anyone have a sevice manual scanned for this particular model or is ther some infor mation in public domain?
Turn the mower on its side I can see the lever that the cable actuates but am not sure if it is moving the proper amount? I have reads through some of the posts and dont know if I have a belt.
