I was on my way to mow a lawn with my 1989 L21ZSNA this morning, when I stopped at a local junk shop to look for a piece 1" PVC pipe. Just a short time before, someone had dropped off a 7268, which looked pretty good. I plunked down $25.00, which is $10.00 more than I have given for any Lawn boy. They told me that the person who brought it in said that it had run last year After I got to my job, I put some fuel in it, cleaned up the air filter, cleaned up the plug and gave her a shot of ether. It took about about 6 pulls, but it took off and ran really good. I mowed the better part of the $40.00 lawn with it, so I say that made for a really good day!!

I like those kind of days too. I've had this 5271 for a few weeks now. I picked it up from a guy selling a new-in-the-box chute and bag kit. While talking, he says he's got something else I might be interested in. Said it had no spark and had not run in years and just wanted to get rid of it. I didn't even hesitate--thank you very much. Missing spark was solved with a replacement switch. New crank seals, new starter rope, some carbon removal. The result?--one pull and she was running--another good day. It still needs a little work yet, but it just goes to show that one good day can lead to another.

Nice! I've never paid 25.00 for a mower than didn't need a few parts to get it to run.
