Hi, I just replaced the carb on my 2004 Yard Machine trimmer that has a Tecumseh LEV105 engine on it. I didn't pay attention to how the linkage goes on and I should have.
Is there a diagram or picture that would help? I have attached pictures of my set-up. Thanks

If it doesn't hook, then how does it attach?

Turn it around 90 deg so the hook slides through the slot.
When the throttle lever has opend the throttle fully, it will then stretch against the spring and push on the hook end to engage the choke.
The return spring should push it back off.

Thanks for that reply. I have been trying to figure out how to explain it. You do a good job of explaining it.

Hi, it doesn't look the whole hook will go through the hole, the hole isn't big enough? See picturetrimmer.jpg
