I have a Troy-bilt ztr with kohler 22 hp. This motor caught on fire. So I bought a new Koehler 22 hp. The new motor does not have a oil sensor, so no Green wire to the wiring harness. The motor starts and runs, but the pto will not start the blades. What do I need to do to get the blades/pto working.

The pto will be totally independent of the engine. So make sure the wires are connected to the pto. Wouldn't be the first time I have seen them left unplugged. Also check any fuses. Is it possible the engine fire could of damaged the clutch. Inspect wires for any damaged that may have been caused by the fire or other causes.

I have checked all the Wires, connection and fuses. Don't
See anything loose or burnt. That's why I was asking about the
Green wire from new motor. The green wire connected to the black
Wire on the lawn mower. The black wire runs to the hour meter for
A low oil light. What else does it work with?
