g200 honda engine

Hello guys ,, my g-200 honda engine has no spark ,,i have replaced points condenser plug ,coil wire and cap and plug ,, something is grounding out is there a wrong way to put the wires on the points ,, causing a ground and no spark ??

Yes.
Hook an ohm meter up to the coil wire, rotate the engine till the points are closed .
Now with your finger, open & close the points.
The Ohm meter should read 0 when the points are closed and a few ohms ( around 5 or so ) when the points are open.
It is very common to have the spring grounding or the fixing bolt grounding the points .
The moving blade should not be grounded anywhere unless closed.

Thanks a lot i will check today ,,it is all new so that has to be the problem ,,thanks again ,,
