YTH22V46XLS Sputters and Stops Running

I purchased a 2012 YTH22V46XLS and am happy with it in every respect excepting that after mowing half my one acre lawn it sputters and dies out. I thought it was just running out of gas and in each of the two times I've mowed the lawn I topped off the gas tank and it ran fine afterwards. The thing of it is that I only put a gallon or so in a three gallon tank so I am not running out of gas.

I replaced the spark plugs, fuel and air filters as well as the fuel pump after the first mowing with no change thereafter. Can I assume this is just a fuel cap venting issue or is there some other explanation?

Yep classic tank vacuum symptoms.
Some YTH vent down the thread on the cap so if you do them up too tight they will seal and prevent venting.
