HONDA GV400 no spark

I AM TRYING TO LOCATE A Silicon Rectifier part number 31700-891-641 as I have a westwood t1200 with a Honda gv400 engine and no spark .
I have replaced coils,and plugs and checked points tried checking this part but it blew when 12 volts went through it.
Would this part stop a spark or can someone suggest something else?
