Just got a Toro Z5035, have some hilly area's and this thing spins/slides out of control on them...totally dry. The tire are small 18x9.50-8 anybody ever dealt with this ? looks to be close on larger tires without modding the fender, how about tire chains ? pretty scary ride at time ? thanks Rob

Are you mowing up and down or side to side? What is the angular slope of the hill?

have to mow side to side, its not that steep at all, this thing spins so easily just going slow and turning slightly, kills the yard

Don't know why it would be sliding if your angular slope is less than 15 degrees. Is your slope over 15 degrees? Have you contacted your dealer to see if the unit is set-up correctly and if he has any suggestions. Have only seen this problem occur when the slope is too great, wet conditions, or sticks are not set correctly, allowing one hydro driving faster than the other, causing oversteering.
