Mower deck Is this an MTD 42" mower deck

I was told when I bought this 42" mower deck at a yard sell it was from a MTD mower. Haven't been able to find anything exactly like it online. Anyone recognize this deck?

I cant swear to it but ... I think it's from a MTD... I helped a friend change his deck belt one evening and the 2 release hooks on the back look vaguely familiar ...

This drawing is from an MTD service manual for the 601 series mower 42 inch deck...hope it helps .

Closely resembles pictured deck except no wheels in the front of mine. That's my problem, I can find many decks that are very similar but not an exact match.

Check out these pics of MTD brand mowers , ....I don't see front wheels on any of them ..I think because of the way the deck is mounted they don't need them..NOT sure .... but it makes sense to me .. hope this helps ...
