I have the same model as the original posted question: Cubcadet XT1. Thank you again.

I need a picture then because everything i find for the Xt1 showes 4 lug nuts on the back tires.

Same problem, and same single connection in center.

There are more than one type of rear tire for the XT1 and XT2(which I have, but same problem).

XT1 product range from CubCadet.com

(Only higher end ST & GT has the 4 bolt rear wheels)

XT2 product range

(Only higher end SLX & GX has 4 bolt rear wheels)

Google Image search, "Cub Cadet XT1"

New person and still no model number. Did you read what Bart said about popping off the center cap?

Are you trying to take off the tire or the tire/wheel together?

I, too, have a leak in a rear tire of an XT-1. The tractor has single black cap on each of the 4 wheels. Does one simply remove the bolt under the cap or is there a complicated mess behind the wheel? The XT-1 does not have four lugs as somebody previously stated - at least not the past 2 years. Thanks to anyone who will answer this.

MODEL NUMBER PLEASE. They make more than one XT1. From what I see about 8 different models. We need your model number to know the one you have.

One of these will help you. For the life of me I cannot see the need for the "pros" to insist on not helping if a specific model number is not posted. It seems that there are only wheels with lug nuts or wheels with the e-clip arrangement. So since you do not have the lug nuts you have the e-clip. Not sure why this couldn't be handled many many posts ago
