I have a Murray lawn tractor with a B&S motor model #28V707 (1113-E1). It has a Nikki carburetor #694941 that's gravity feed.

Question- does this carburetor have a removable inlet seat? I'm replacing the needle valve and seat but the seat seems to be cast into the carb. Even the parts diagram doesn't show a inlet seat.

Some of the Walbro carbs do, but not the Nikki. If it was the replaceable type it would be made of either brass or a viton rubber disc looking thing

There's a brass seat at the bottom, I'm wondering if I should drill it out?

What I mean by brass is the whole thing including the sides are brass that you can screw something into and then pull it out. The brass at the bottom doesn't count. That one is non removable
