I am still waiting to find a manual for my Stihl Viking MT830. But the cut height is so low i want to see if they use a spacer above the blade that I could move to below the blade. However the bolt does not want to move, even with a rattle gun.
Can you tell from the pic if the blade bolt extends through the spindle to the large nut at the top, and can I dismantle it from that end?

Get a bigger rattle gun.
Murray made most of the Vikings and that looks like a murray deck.
Blade bolts self tighten and I regularly have to cut the heads off to get the blades off.
Once the tension is relieved the remaining bolt will turn out by hand.
If the deck is cutting too ow the DPO could very well have fitted a flat blade to get it to cut higher thus the bolts cop a hiding.

Thanks for that Bert. Bigger rattle gun isnt an option the little compressor is not worth a larger gun at home.
I have it soaking in penetrating fluid now, so tomorrow I will try heat and the rattle gun again.
