post your engine's model,type, & code numbers .... have you tried to give a "shot" of gas into carb inlet to see if it attempts
to run,..?? might also want to check your valve adjustments ..

tried starting fluid--nothing-model # 331877-type 0869 G5 code 1100 62D Briggs & Stratton gold series

I FOUND OUT WHY MY ENGINE WOULD NOT RUN ----BROKEN INTAKE PUSH ROD------NOW I HAVE A NEW ONE---WHEN I WAS PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER I FOUND 2 BUTTON TYPE CAPS--------I DO NOT NO WHERE THEY CAME FROM------CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME INFO---------THANKS-------I HAVE NO REPAIR BOOK--------

Those parts you found MIGHT be from the valve train area seeing you had a pushrod problem...
