backing the mower

I have a John Deer La110 bought in 2007 . the button for the back up with the PTO is in for the blades is not working could guide me where the problem could be. thanks for your time, Jerry

Could you guide us with a little more information like what happens when you push the backup button. It dies or what?

when I push the button in to back up and press the foot backup pedal down is will die.

Test the RIO switch.
Look up under the dash of the mower, for the RIO switch and wire. Grip the connector on the end of the wire and pull it straight out to disconnect if from the back of the RIO switch. Set your electrical tester to Continuity and check for it. It should have no continuity then push switch and it will have continuity. If it does not then its a bad switch.

The button on the dash is good has been tested need more help

Was it tested the way I asked you to test it? What was the outcome?
